Reading some books while the sun rises. This girl’s internal clock is wired to a 6:30 a.m. wake-up…almost to the minute. Yawn.
I strayed from the standard eggs-and-toast and made some popovers, as seen on my friend Emari’s blog (check it out…she’s incredibly talented). It was the first time using the oven in our apartment and I had to cook them for a lot longer than the recipe says, probably closer to 30-35 minutes. Some of them didn’t really ‘pop’ but I think it’s just the oven. Super easy and delicious!
Served with maple syrup and powdered sugar, on paper plates. All of my dishes and utensils are in storage! Man, do I miss them.
Enjoyed by all.
We attended my friend’s wedding Saturday afternoon so I actually had to do my hair for once…I honestly can’t remember that last time I pulled out the blow dryer! I’ve had these clip-in extensions laying around so I decided to try them out…
Cheesy bathroom photos? Check. The top left is the ‘before’…
They were fun for a couple hours, though they gave me a slight headache. It was super windy at the wedding and I was just picturing them flying away or something! They’re actually really secure but still…can you imagine?
The wedding was beautiful, and may they live happily ever after. The end.
