I found this draft from 2011 and I’m not sure why I never posted it…strange. I would’ve deleted it if it hadn’t been so delicious (yes, I remember exactly what it tasted like).
This galette (free-form pie, in other words) is the perfect way to use up the last of your summer berries, and it’s so adaptable. I used blueberries, raspberries and blackberries but the possibilities are endless. Peach and raspberry sounds especially delicious, doesn’t it?
I don’t recall following a recipe (and of course I can’t remember mine) but this one looks similar to what I did. A pre-made pie crust makes this dessert a breeze. If the thought of making a pie scares you, give this a try. It’s supposed to be imperfect so you can’t really mess it up.
