MAKING: our house festive for the holiday season…garland draped everywhere and…that’s about it. We’re keeping it simple this year.
EATING: the Trim Healthy Mama way! Three weeks off of sugar and I’m feeling fantastic.
DRINKING: iced oolong tea with lemon
READING: is it sad that the answer is ‘nothing’? I need to fix that…any book suggestions?
WANTING: to paint our bedroom, to get pictures hung on the wall, a pantry…I guess I’m hoping my husband will read this. ;)
LOOKING: forward to Christmas in New England
WASTING: time practicing calligraphy…it’s strangely addicting and relaxing
SEWING: pant hems…and no projects whatsoever
WISHING: the world was a safer place
ENJOYING: mornings. I have become a morning person (once I’m up). Who am I??
WATCHING: the new season of Fixer Upper
WONDERING: when Oliver will start walking on his own
LOVING: his belly laughs and toothy grins
NEEDING: to work on finding joy and significance in our day-to-day life…to celebrate the ordinary
WEARING: my favorite red flannel and sometimes jeans. But mostly yoga pants and I’m not ashamed. Also, snow boots because that happened.
THINKING: about everything we have been through this year and how God is faithful. Always. With my doctor’s help, I have slowly stopped taking the medication for PPD without any issues and it makes me very happy that I can live without it, but I’m also so thankful that it was available when I needed it.
FEELING: optimistic that this coming year will be a great one
