We have a bathtub and Matilda is pretty excited about it!
Here we are again with another update on our renovation project…did a week really go by already? If you missed the first update you can read it here.
This week, the bedroom door into the living room got closed off and the new drywall is almost complete.
We recycled the door and hung it in the new bedroom doorway off of the new hall.
Reid installed the tub and finished up the hall and bathroom floors that were pieced together out of old pine boards…they just need a light sanding and a clear coat. I love how they are coming out!
Looking more like a bathroom! We are going to use white subway tiles to finish off the shower.
I found this little table at an antique shop and we are going to use it for a vanity, with a rectangular vessel sink and a wall mounted faucet. It will just need a couple inches taken off of each end and a shelf added underneath.
These are some of the inspiration pictures for the bathroom, from my farmhouse board on Pinterest:

And there you have it! We still haven’t ordered the kitchen cabinets but hopefully that will get done this week. We will also start priming the walls and sanding the ceilings, and possibly floors, too.
